   ProcessorsSeveral recycling companies process approximately 1.2 million passenger tire equivalents (PTE) annually. Products include crumb rubber used in playground applications, paving and numerous molded products. A large percentage of the crumb rubber produced is exported. Other uses include products manufactured from stamped and cut material (Armourback tires, belts, matting, etc.). Molded products include paving tires, curb stops, commercial and residential roofing material, EZ-Rizers, etc. The program's processors are under contract with SSTC. The program pays recycling credits to registered processors on proof-of-sale of new recycled products.Saskatchewan Processors Directory |
