   LevyThe Saskatchewan program incorporates a multi tiered levy system which includes passenger car tires, medium truck tires, agricultural tires and large off-road/mining tires. The predisposal levy is collected on the sale of all new tires. Annual sales of 1.1 million tires, of all sizes, produces a levy amount of $4.2 million that is collected by the SSTC from over 1,200 registered participants. |
