Island Waste Management Corporation (IWMC) is a Prince Edward
Island Crown Corporation who's mandate is to develop, implement
and operate a waste management system to serve Prince Edward
Island. In addition to a full program for waste, compost and
recyclables the Corporation is also responsible for the collection
and final disposal of all tires in the province. Currently there
is a tire levy of $4.00 for each tire sold in the province and
IWMC uses this revenue to ship tires to final end markets.

Sealed tenders will be received at the Island Waste Management Corporation, 110 Watts Avenue, Charlottetown, PEI, prior to 12:00 noon local time (ADT), August 29th, 2007.
